“Saturday Night Live” has been reflecting and influencing the American Story for 40 years. “Live From New York! explores the show’s early years, an experiment from a young Lorne Michaels and his cast of unknowns, and follows its evolution into a comedy institution. The film looks at SNL as a living time capsule, encompassing decades of American politics, media, tragedy, and popular culture with an irreverent edge.

Founder & CEO. JL founded JumpLine Group, BehindTheLIne Production’s parent company, to bring her two passions together: luxury brands and entertainment. JL built a stellar career, holding executive positions with Cartier and Modern Luxury before starting her own company. A natural leader and gifted connector, JL leads the charge with business development and strategy for BehindTheLine. She is the companies’ life force and “spiritual leader.”

Favorite movie character: Tyler Durden. He represents the power of manifesting reality—with no fear. Can’t say more because the first rule of fight club is you don’t talk about fight club.

Has the vision.

Head of Creative. Tom is an Emmy-winning (and six-time nominated) Costume Designer who has been behind Saturday Night Live for more than 20 years. In addition to his work on SNL, Tom created the sophisticated wardrobes on House of Cards, as well as Liz Lemon’s hoodie-and-blazer combo and the other costumes on 30 Rock. He has been nominated for four Costume Designers Guild Awards, including “Outstanding Contemporary Television Series” for Saturday Night Live and House of Cards, the latter for which he took home a trophy.

Some of Tom’s other television and film projects include The Big CIn Treatment, and The Comeback. Tom contributed his design vision to the pilots for Ballers, starring Dwayne Johnson, and the ballet drama, Flesh and Bone.

Tom was Executive Producer on the documentary Live From New York!.

Head of Talent & Production. With more than a decade in television production, Sarah has built her reputation as one of the most respected and likeable people in entertainment. In addition to her leadership position with JumpLine Group, Sarah is the Supervising Producer of the CDGA and heads up all talent and production for BehindTheLine. She also continues to work externally as a talent producer for the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards annually.

Favorite Movie Character: It’s a tie between Miranda Priestly (“Devil Wears Prada”) and Libby Mae Brown (“Waiting for Guffman”). One is who I think I am, and the other is who I actually might be.

Managing Director. Laura drives marketing, creative, and operations for JumpLine Group, BehindTheLine Productions’ parent company. A digital media native, Laura has worked with Condé Nast, Hearst, Rodale, and Modern Luxury developing content and marketing solutions for brands like P&G, Samsung, Nike, Macy’s, Banana Republic, Campari, and Ford. Laura was most recently CMO of Jumpstart Automotive Group, a division of Hearst. Regarded as an industry expert, Laura has been recognized and awarded by OMMA, Webby, MIN, and W3, and received MIN’s Marketer of the Year.

Favorite movie character: Lloyd Dobbler: his taste in music, appreciation of smart women, and rambling charm.

Operations Director. Deme oversees all facets of operation for JumpLine Group, BehindTheLine’s parent company, including vendor management and office logistics. She has leveraged her background in PR to manage the company’s social media. Her creativity and deep knowledge of the entertainment industry has made her invaluable as a Producer for the Costume Designers Guild Awards, as well as a strategic partner on all JumpLine Group projects.

Favorite movie character: Cher Horowitz. She’s confidant, a problem solver, and has a fabulous wardrobe.

Controller. Kyle ensures all projects are accounted for, checks are paid on time, and the budget is balanced—giving her a lauded status with BehindTheLine Productions and with all its partners. The self-appointed “Empress of All Things” has nearly two decades of experience as both a consultant and controller to businesses in a variety of industries nationwide. She can also sometimes be seen starring in both Spanish and English language commercials, keeping her busy, out of trouble, and, hopefully, looking well coiffed.

Favorite movie character: Bluto in Animal House… does anyone really need a reason to love John Belushi? An absolute genius!
